This course will explain the history and current context of academic journals. Learn why blind peer review makes such a difference for the quality of scientific knowledge. Additionally, you will be given some time saving tips for reading and picking journal articles for your literature review as well as some deeper insights into how to trust the quality of various journals.
Your Instructor
Dr. Davis earned his PhD in Sociology at the University of California San Diego. He teaches in the sociology department at San Diego State University. Davis is the author of a book and multiple journal articles on higher education and work.
